Audio/Visual - ICON

I worked with Cameron Youds, a passionate headphone designer from Hong Kong to develop a new concept for his brand ‘Audio Visual’. The project carried on for months alongside our primary work. We went through research, ideation and exploration, and finally developed and evaluated our concept through 3D printing, later supported by prototyping experts.

Experience

Working with an experienced headphone designer gave me the opportunity to understand common design and technical challenges while creating something that is ergonomically comfortable and easy to understand and use. I could exchange ideas through sketches over the internet, this was further developed in 3D by Cameron and prototyped for testing. I was a part of the whole design process and  utilised this collaborative opportunity to enhance my skills in sketching, quick ideation and video editing.
